Freshman soccer played a tough Pennridge team who seeming would not settle for a loss. Wiss’s passing in the first half was unmatched, pinging one time passes up the field. This gave them their first half lead. The Trojan went up 3-1 late in the second half. The Rams fought back to tie the score with just a few minutes remaining in the game. Wissahickon had a free kick just under two minutes remaining in the game, a beautiful serve from Idan Jaffe set up a header from Jack Schmidt who found the net for the Trojans to take a one goal advantage. Within a minute, Brody Myers found the net again on a sheer hustle play that secured the victory for the Trojans. The team stayed focused, and would not settle for a tie, an outstanding comeback victory and team effort by the freshman soccer team, Congratulations on an exciting win for the Trojans! A 5-3 THRILLER!
