Congratulations to the Girls’ Track and Field Team members who competed in the Penn relays yesterday. Both relays ran season best times and qualified for the District Championships. Rachel Coleman, Lieke Black, Cala Lejman, and Alexis Smith ran the second fastest time in the league in the 4x1. Rachel, Alexis, and Lieke came back with Maddy Hippensteal and ran the League’s fastest 4x4 team medaling in their race in 3rd place. Special congratulations and appreciation go out to the alternates in those relays – Makayla Pickett, Alexeya Pender, and Erin Fitzgerald. Alternates are the backbone – and pack mules – of every successful relay!
