I am so very proud of the game our Wissahickon Trojans played tonight - Wissahickon first, despite the loss, left everything out on the field proving a very intense and entertaining game against Hatboro Horsham, and second, and in addition, adopted two very special athletes as honorary Varsity players through the Athletes Helping Athletes program. It was a memorable night.

Kelly Dickson, Wissahickon’s center back, lead her Trojans by example tonight. Not only did she have a stellar game with explosive play on the pitch but she brought her team the opportunity to truly touch lives this evening. Her brainchild, she seized the opportunity to organize the event, involve her team in making posters welcoming our two new Athletes, and delivered her team the opportunity to make a difference in their community. Together they raised over $100 for the cause and made two awesome kids very happy.

Thank you Kelly! You are a true leader! Keep pushing and making truly a difference in our world.
