Congratulations to the Girls Indoor Track Team for their performances at Lehigh University on Friday night, January 12th. Special recognition goes to freshman Kasi Brown for her 3rd place finish in the High Jump, clearing a height of 5 feet. Kasi's performance qualifies her for the Meet of Champions in February. Senior, Hayley Ross, placed 7th in the 800 meters, with a time of 2:27.74, also qualifying for the Meet of Champions. In addition, Sam Intrieri, Jenna Saunders, Kayla Pickett and Lieke Black earned medals with their 6th place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:23.44. The Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track Team will compete again next Friday, January 19th at Lehigh University as well as at the Shot Put Invite at Germantown Academy.
