Fourteen members of the Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track Team traveled to Lehigh University on Friday night, January 19th, to participate in the 5th DVGTCA meet. It was an outstanding night for the team as almost every team member ran their personal best times of the season. Top performers included Lieke Black who placed 11th in the hurdles running a time of 9.8 seconds which qualified her for the Meet of Champions, and Hayley Ross who earned a 4th place medal in the 800 meters with a time of 2:24.59. Additionally, two team members, Mallory Goodman and Manifa Jones represented Wissahickon at the Shot Put Invite at Germantown Academy and put in strong performances. The team will compete again at Lehigh University next Friday evening January 26th.
