The Wissahickon High School Girls Indoor Track Team had a very successful meet at Swarthmore College last night at the DVGTCA Consolation Championships.  Twenty one girls competed in the meet with more than half of them earning medals in their respective events.  In individual events, first place medals were earned by Sophia Chiodo Ortiz in the 55 meters covering the distance in 7.4 seconds, Sam Intrieri in the 400 meters with a time of 63.1 seconds, and Lindsey Frenia in the mile with a time of 5:53.6. Third place medals were earned by Ainsley Olzewski for her performance in the 800 meters running a 2:45, and Logan Weber who competed in the 3000 meters finishing the distance in 12:25., and a 4^th place medal was earned by Kayla Picket in the 200 meters with a time of 29.1.  The team also had two relay teams who were medal winners.  The 4 x 4 lap (864 meter) relay  consisting of Tara Jog, Mari Kleha, Lilly Sollberger, and Noelle Herron and the 4 x 2 lap (432 meter) relay consisting of Kayla Pickett, Jenna Saunders, Michelle Feichtenber and Meghan Marolla both earned 4^th place medals.  The team will compete again this Saturday at the PTFCA Track Carnival at Lehigh University.?
