Wissahickon came away with a 5-2 win over Interboro to secure themselves a spot in states. Mike Gorman was on the mound for Wiss and pitched 6.1 IP giving up 2 runs and not walking a single batter. The offense came from Brian Hynes (3-3, 2 SB), Steve Loden (3-4, 2 2B, RBI), Eddie Fortescue (3-4, 2B, RBI), and Bobby McFarland (2-3, 2 2B). The Trojans are not done just yet with districts, as they find are in the semifinals and will play at Marple Newtown HS on Friday at 4 pm. Winner goes to the District Championship on Tuesday @ Plymouth Whitemarsh.
