A well-balanced offensive attack powered the Trojans to a 12-5 victory over Springfield on Thursday. Goals were scored by Becca Valentine (4), Anna Alberti (2), Ashley Radell (2), Jillian Garvey, Jaclyn Staub, Emma Benning, and Chloe Lovensheimer. Sophomore goalie Paige Benning blocked 9 shots on 13 attempts posting a save percentage of 70% to anchor the defense. Laila Kennedy played an outstanding two-way game with 4 assistas, 3 steals and two exclusions drawn. The Trojans' win builds momentum, bringing their overall record to 15-4 as they approach post-season play. Go Blue!
