On Saturday, February 9th, Nine members of the Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track Team traveled to Lehigh University to compete in the PTFCA Indoor Track Carnival. Highlights of the evening included Kasi Brown's 4th place finish in the long jump, covering a distance of 16-06.75 feet, and Maddy Hippensteal's placed 8th in the 800 meters, finishing in a time of 2:25.94. Next week the team will be back at Lehigh to compete in the Meet of Champions, with the following team members competing in their respecitive events - Kasi Brown (Long and High Jump), Lieke Black (60 meter hurdles and 60 meter dash) Maddy Hippensteal (400 meters), and Lindsey Frenia (3000 meters).
