The Wissahickon Girls' Swimming and Diving Team finished up the regular season on Friday at Suburban One League American Conference Championships. There were lots of personal bests, and the team finished third overall.
There were several podium finishes including:
200 Medley Relay (Carly Zlotnikoff, Karis Kim, Katie Sapozhnikov, Julia Weiss) - 2nd place in a new team record and automatic District One Championship qualifying time beating the 3rd place Hatters by just 1/100th of a second
400 Freestyle Relay (Sapozhnikov, Weiss, Kim, Zlotnikoff) - 2nd place
Carly Zlotnikoff- first in both the 50y free and 100 y free
Katie Sapozhnikov - 2nd in the 200y IM in a personal best by over 3 seconds and just missing the win by 1/100th of a second and 3rd in the 100y fly
Additionally, Julia Weiss earned an automatic District One Qualifying time in the 200y free.
