Our pair of horizontal jumpers seemed to put up personal bests on every attempt, with Carmen Ostroski qualifying for the 'Trip to Ship' in both the long and triple jumps and teammate Christiam McCarry sneaking on the the podium twice.
Carmen's 45-4.25 triple jump (#8 Wiss all-time) put more than two feet onto his previous best of 43-2, with 4 attempts in the 44's moving him from a pre-meet ranking of 11th up to 4th. Christian added 5 inches to his best, with 44-2.25 (#10 Wiss all-time) nabbing 8th place.
In the long jump, the big improvement came from Christian moving from a 23rd place pre-meet ranking finishing in 7th, 21-10 his best ever. Carmen matched his previous best of 22-7.5 placing second.
