Boys Track - Ostroski Places 3rd at States
Carmen Ostroski's end-of-season streak concluded with State hardware in the form of a third place medal in the long jump. With 4 personal bests at leagues (long jump, triple jump, 300 meter hurdles, 4x400 split), and 2 more at Districts, (long jump, triple jump) it only seemed right for that success to continue. His 22-4.5 in the first round, although not a personal best (22-7.5), was enough to hold off most of the field. This marks the 35th state medal issued to a Floyd Garis coached athlete!
On Friday, he placed 17th in the triple jump with 44-5.5.
