On senior night at Wissahickon, the Trojans battled back from a horrible start to defeat the visiting Golden Bears of Upper Moreland 56-52. Upper Moreland jumped out 18-3 on the Trojans and finished the first quarter up 20-11. The Trojans dug in on defense and held their opponent to 4 points in the second, and with the help of some big shots by Jackson Intrieri, Wissahickon took a one-point lead into halftime 25-24. Matt Compas and Harrison Williams got rolling in the second half; a half that saw several lead changes. Williams hit clutch free throws down the stretch to seal the win. Compas finished with 18, and Williams 16.
Wissahickon (25th seed going into tonight) is hoping that the win against (14-7) Upper Moreland did enough to move them into the 6A Playoffs.
