UPPER MORELAND HIGH SCHOOL: 4
The Wissahickon boys lacrosse team rolled to its 5th straight win with a victory over Upper Moreland 17-4. Upper Moreland scored the first goal of the game to get Wissahickon's attention and the Trojans went on to score the next 9 goals to take command of the game and they never looked back. Jackson Intrieri had a monster game scoring 6 goals and handing out 5 assists. Dean Wolfe scored 4 goals and Kyle Lehman had 2 goals and 2 assists. Brody Meyers had 2 goals, Andrew Slackman had 1 goal and 2 assists. Sam Baker had 1 goal and 1 assist. Matt Fritz and Jason Michaels both added a goal and EJ Schreiner had an assist. Matt Fritz went 15/20 on faceoffs and Dominic Kemper went 3/4. The defense was again very organized and were led by goalie Scott Pfeiffer, Jake Licata, Quinn Fonash, Ethan Glass, Joey Connolly and Alex Solomon. With the win the Trojans moved up to #6 in the latest PIAA power rankings.
