RADNOR SENIOR HS: 8
The 7th ranked Wissahickon boys lacrosse team traveled to #2 ranked Radnor on Saturday and gave the host team all they could handle in a 8-7 loss. Wissahickon held a 3-2 lead after one quarter and the game was tied 4-4 at the half. At the end of 3 quarters it was still tied at 6-6. Radnor scored the next two goals only to see Wissahickon score 6 seconds later to make the score a one goal game. Matt Fritz won the last faceoff and Wiss turned the ball over with 1:32 on the clock and Radnor ran out the time. The offfense was led by Kyle Lehman with 2 goals and 1 assist. Dean Wolfe had 2 goals and Jackson Intrieri, Brody Meyers and Nick Donofrio all had one goal a piece. Matt Fritz was excellent all day at the faceoff X going 15/18 and Scott Pffeiffer played great with 14 saves. Wissahickon goes on to play in the playback rounds vs Perk Valley on Tuesday.
