The #7 seed Wissahickon boys lacrosse team rolled into #3 seed Perk Valley's stadium with one thing on their mind. A berth in the state playoffs. Something no Wissahickon boys lacrosse team has ever done. The Trojans hit the gas early going up 4-0 after one quarter. The second quarter saw no goals by either team. The Trojans came out firing in the third quarter and never looked back building a 9-1 lead. When the final horn sounded the scoreboard read Wissahickon 11 Perk Valley 2. The Trojans are the only Suburban One team still standing in the playoff race. Wissahickon with solid efforts all over the field were led on offense by Dean Wolfe's 5 goals. Jackson Intrieri had 2 goals and 4 assists. Kyle Lehman had 2 goals. Matt Fritz had 1 goal and 1 assist to go along with 11/14 on the faceoff X. Andrew Slackman added a goal and Jake Licata added an assist. Scott Pfeiffer played very focused with 11 saves and the defense was strong as usual led by Jake Licata,Quinn Fonash, Ethan Glass, Joey Connolly, EJ Schreiner, Brody Meyers and Alex Solomon.
