UPPER DUBLIN HIGH SCHOOL: 44
Congratulations to Upper Dublin & Coach Dave Jones for it's 44-20 defeat of the Trojans. UD came out storming and led 39-0, but Wissahickon battled back winning 5 of the last 6 matches, but it wasn't enough. While the meet could have been a lot closer if a few matches went our way, UD was clearly the better team last night and deserved the victory. So after a 5-year rein of holding onto the Ambler/Fireside Cup it goes back to Upper Dublin. Already looking forward to next year!
And while we didn't win on the mats, the night was still special as the team recognized and honored Mike & Kristin Ford and the Kellan Ford Foundation. A 50-50 raffle was held and all the proceeds went to their foundation.
