HARRITON SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 62
The Trojans had a heart breaker to start the season in a 62-60 loss at Harriton. After a solid back and forth game heading into the 4th, Harriton took an 8-point lead, but Wissahickon came storming back to tie the game 60-60. With 4 seconds left Harriton's leading scorer, Henry Beicher (23) attacked the basket but was blocked by Wissahickon's 7'0" center Jona Sellenriek. Harriton's Seth Shaw took advantage of the rebound and put the ball up with tenths of a second on the clock. Sellenriek blocked it as well, but it was ruled a goaltend, and Harriton walked off with a 2-point victory.
Nico Vacchiano chipped in 21, and Owen Haughey had 13 for the Trojans.
Wissahickon plays Spring-ford Friday at 4:30 in the North Penn Tipoff Tournament
