The Wissahickon Trojans backed bounce after their heartbreaking buzzer beater loss to Hatboro on Tuesday by getting a solid win over the Panthers of Quakertown 57-21. The game was a make-up game due to a power outage before the holiday break. Wissahickon exploded with a 25-4 first quarter behind the play of senior guard Nico Vacchiano and Senior center Jona Sellenriek. After a solid second quarter as well, the Trojans took a 41-5 lead into halftime, and never looked back. Nico Vacchiano led all scores with 24, and Jona Sellenriek had 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocked shots.
Wissahickon travels to Lower Moreland on Friday.
