The Wissahickon Trojans are making a big push towards the playoffs in their final two games, tonight they took on the Golden Bears of Upper Moreland and got a solid win 57-36. The Trojans jumped out to a sizable lead in the first quarter 16-7, but then the Bears came charging back in the second quarter and cut the lead to two 29-27 going in a halftime. Fortunately for the Trojans, the second half was all Wissahickon. Some scrappy put backs by Zach Schwartz, and some big plays by Jona Sellenriek and Nico Vacchiano put the game out of reach in the third quarter and the Trojan continue to extend that lead into the fourth to give the Trojans a sizable win. The Trojans outscored Upper Moreland 28-9 in the second half. Nico Vacchiano led Wissahickon with 24.
The Trojans will play against Lincoln Leadership Academy in their final regular season game at home tomorrow night. 7:00
