The Wissahickon Trojans rolled into Chester and played tough, gritty, and battled, but unfortunately couldn't get the win. Chester 59 - Wissahickon 57.
It was a great back and forth game, and although there were some problems with the time clock in the last 10 seconds of the game, the difference in winning and losing came down to turnovers for the Trojans. Wissahickon had 16 turnovers, but they still found themselves in a 1-point game in the final seconds. The Trojans had to foul and put Chester on the free throw line, and after making 1 of two free all the trojans could do with 3 seconds was watch time run out.
Nico Vacchiano finished an outstanding career and had 19 points in the face of constant denial and face guarding. Sophomore Zach Schwartz had a night hitting shots inside and outside finishing with 18.
