Junior Eryn Downey went 4-5 with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI as Wissahickon
defeated PW 16-11 on a windswept field at PW. The Trojans jumped on PW for 8 runs in the 1st inning.Michela Coleman, Zoe Trumbore, Macey Segal, Siani Paige-Miller, Downer and Emily Welsh all had hits and scored. Junior Pitcher Sara Genell held PW scoreless in the bottom of the first, The Trojans tacked on 1 run in the top of the 2nd while PW came back for 3 runs in the bottom of the 2nd. Genell used some excellent defense to hold PW to 1 run over the next 3 innings. In the 4th the Trojans knocked out 7 straight hits to add 4 more runs. With Wissahickon up 12 runs going into the bottom of the 6th it looked like the game was over after the Trojans got the first 2 outs. PW kept swinging. The stellar Wissahickon defense then committed 3 errors, got to Genell for 2 hits and a walk scoring  7 two out runs to make it a game. Genell's defense got back on track to record 3 outs in the bottom of the 7th to get the win.
