The Wissahickon Girls Lacrosse team suffered a tough loss to Pennridge yesterday, 15-8.
For WHS:
Sam Intrieri scored 4 goals, with 1 assist, 4 draw controls, and 3 ground ball recovery.
Brooke Berry scored 2
Sophia Chido Ortiz scored 1 with 3 ground balls and 1 draw control
Abby DeGroat scored 1 goal and had 2 draw controls and 2 ground balls
Jaclyn Staub had 8 saves in cage
Defense was lead by Lauren Donofrio and Maddie Hippensteal. Both had two caused turnovers on Pennridge.
For Pennridge:
Grace Lochery lead all scorers with 8 goals, Wahlers and Csaszar both scored two, and Luna, Hefner, Lippman tallied 1 goal each.
