The football team traveled to Hatboro-Horsham on Friday for an SOL American league game.  The Trojans started fast with recording a safety and them producing a 3 and out to get good field position to score a rushing touchdown by Chris Smalls.  The Trojan defense provided stops and big tackles before Hatboro was able to get on the score board twice in the 2nd quarter.  Both teams traded punts in the third quarter before scoring started again in the 4th quarter.  The Trojan offense was able to move the ball with big passes and receptions that lead to a 13 yard TD run by Marice Johnson Jr. to tie the score at 14 with 6 minutes remaining in the game.  The Trojan defenes was able to come up with another stop on 4th down, and the offense was able to move down the field before stalling and turning the ball over with an interception.  The Hatters was able to drive the field for the go ahead score and next defensive position for the Hatters get another turnover and score to pull away with a 28-14 victory.  The young Trojans showed great fight and gritt in battling with the Hatters of Hatboro. The offense was paced by Marice Johnson Jr who ran for 26 yards and a TD, Chris Smalls who ran for 34 yards and a TD, Maurice Willis played big pulling in 5 receptions for 114 yards, and Nick Santo throwing 14-26 for 198 yards with 3 INTs.  The defense saw a continue strong performance from Jalen Smalls and Raejon Benjamin at the LB position. Up next for the Trojans is a home contest against the Panthers of Quakertown next Friday (7pm kickoff).  Come out and support the Trojans!
