Eleven wrestlers competed in the District Championships on Saturday at Quakertown. Captain, Nick Senderling placed 2nd and thus earned the right to advance to Regionals. Although Nick was the only one that is advancing to Regionals, overall the wrestlers performed well. I was especially pleased that several wrestlers were able to pick up at least one win giving them confidence and motivation that they in fact can compete at that level and beyond. The wrestlers who won a match included; Charlie Brammer, Brayden Druger, Dan Keller and Mark Thompson. It should be noted that of the 11 wrestlers who competed, only 2 were Seniors (1 Freshman, 5 Sophomores, 3 Juniors and 2 Seniors) which bodes well for the future! The Regional Championships will take place at Souderton on Friday and Saturday.
