Boys Varsity Wrestling vs. Strath Haven HS School

The Wrestling Team finished its home dual meet schedule with a hard fought win against Strath Haven 28-25. The meet was tied going into the last match where Kevin Salmon defeated his opponent 7-0 thus securing the victory.

The team also got to finally celebrate its American Conference League Championship in front of our home crowd. Athletic Director, Jim Cairnes presented the trophy to the team after the meet. It was the first league championship for Wissahickon since the 2003-04 season.

So a good night all-around!

The team has two tournament left on their schedule before the post-season - Saturday at Central Bucks East and the following Saturday at Upper Dublin.
