MOUNT ST. JOSEPH ACADEMY: 97
Yesterday, the Wissahickon Girls' Swim and Dive Team hosted Mount Saint Joseph. While the Trojans won eight out of the twelve events, the depth of the Mount proved to be too much of an obstacle to overcome. The girls had great swims with lots of personal and season bests in their 86 to 97 loss.
Highlights included:
Karis Kim - wins in the 200y freestyle and 100y freestyle
Tess Klugerz - win in the diving
Katie Sapozhnikov - win in the 100y butterfly
Carly Zlotnikoff - wins in the 50y freestyle and 100y backstroke
Julia Weiss - two second places with a District One Consideration time in the 200y Freestyle and her first District One Automatic time in the 500 free
Victories in the 200y freestyle relay (Zlotnikoff, Jaclyn Staub, Weiss, Kim) and the 400y freestyle relay (Sapozhnikov, Staub, Weiss, Kim).
Congrats on a great meet ladies! Up next is Cheltenham on Tuesday at home.
