The Wissahickon swimmers and divers headed to Upper Moreland for their first meet of the new year. The girls touched the wall first in 8 of the 11 swimming events, and placed one-two on the board to come away with a 102-73 victory.

Highlights included:

Going 1-2-3 in the 200 IM with Eunice Fu, Becca Valentine and Fernanda Oguiwara in that order.

Placing first and second in the following events:

-Medley Relay with the team of Julia Weiss, Julia Ronca, Katie Sapozhnikov and Fernanda Oguiwara out-touching the team of Jaclyn Staub, Eunice Fu, Carly Zlotnikoff and Maggie Krieger by less than half of a second.

-Diving - Tess Klugherz in first, Haley Culp in second

-100 Yard Freestyle - Jaclyn Staub in first, Becca Valentine in second

-100 Yard Breaststroke - Julia Ronca in first, Julia Weiss in second

Other individual wins:

-Caitlin Valentine in the 200y Free

-Carly Zlotnikoff in the 100y Butterfly in an automatic District One Championship Qualifying Time

-Katie Sapozhnikov in the 100y Backstroke
