Girls Varsity Swimming vs. Springfield Twp HS School

On Thursday, the Wissahickon Girls' Swimming and Diving Team competed in their first ever virtual meet against Springfield Township HS. Both teams competed at their own home pools then the results were compiled to determine the winners of each event. The Wiss girls were shorthanded with eight swimmers and one diver missing the meet. Winners included Zoey Norpel (diving), Ava Walters (500y free), Bernice Fu (100y back) and the 400 Free Relay (Sarah Pickel, Eunice Fu, Bernice Fu and Ava Walters). In the end, the Trojans came up just two points short of the Spartans.
