On Friday, the Wiss girls hosted Springfield Township HS. Last year, the Spartans bested the Trojans by a single point, so it was expected to be another close meet. Wiss ended up winning nine of the twelve events and earned an eight point victory. 

Highlights:

200 Medley Relay (Ava Walters, Maddie Johnson, Bernice Fu, Sarah Pickel) won a close race to start off the meet on a great note.

200 Free - Maddie Johnson won in a District One Championship Consideration time, while Rachel Le placed second.

200 IM - Bernice Fu won with a personal best breaking the 2:20 barrier for the first time.

50 Free - Sarah Pickel won the 50 free breaking 26 seconds.

Diving - Regan Santoro kept up her winning streak with another victory.

100 Fly - Ava Walters had an easy victory winning by over 9 seconds.

100 Free - Maddie Johnson earned a D1 Championship Consideration time in her second place finish.

500 Free - Ava Walters won by nearly 45 seconds besting her previous season best by 8 seconds

200 Free Relay - Sarah Pickel, Bernice Fu, Maddie Johnson, and Ava Walters won by over two seconds.

100 Back - Sarah Pickel swam an off event and ended up winning by nearly four seconds.

The next meet will be Tuesday at Plymouth Whitemarsh.
