Wissahickon Girls Varsity squeaked out a tight defensive battle against Upper Dublin winning by a mark of 4-2. Offensive struggles by the Trojans kept the game close but the DOMINANT defense by Wissahickon held off the Upper Dublin attack. Goals were scored by Becca Valentine (3) and Anna Alberti. Chloe Lovensheimer, Maggie Krieger and Goalie Caitlin Valentine each contributed assists. Goalie Caitlin Valentine Stopped 9 shots and added 3 steals. Steals were also contriubuted by B. Valentine (6), Emma Benning (4), Lovensheimer (4), Sophia Tsiobikas (3), Anna Alberti (2), Maggie Krieger (1), Jaclyn Staub (1). The Trojans are at The Viking Invite ths Saturday. GO BLUE!
