Nine members of Wissahickon High Girls Indoor Track Team competed at the PTFCA Indoor Track Carnival at Lehigh University on Saturday, February 11th. Highlights included Cala Lejman's 5th place finish in the pole vault clearing a height of 11 feet, 3 inches and the 6th place finish by 4x400 meter relay team, conisisting of Michela Coleman, Rachel Coleman, Lieke Black and Hayley Ross. The relay team's time of 4:09.90 exceeds the state qualifying standard of 4:11.40 and currently places them 19th in the state. The 4x400 meter relay will compete at Lehigh University again this Friday, February 17th in the Meet of Champions. Other team members who will compete at this meet in individual events are Cala Lejman, in the Pole Vault, and Hayley Ross who will compete in the 800 meters.
