The Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track Team had a successful evening last night at the DVGTCA Meet of Champions at Lehigh University. Medals were earned by Sophomore Lindsey who placed 5th in the 3000 meter run, running a personal best time of 11 minutes 3.08 seconds, and Kasi Brown who placed 6th in the high jump, clearing 4 feet 11 inches. Other highlights of the evening included Kasi Brown's 8th place finish in the Long Jump, with a jump of 17 feet, 2 and a quarter inches, Maddy Hippensteal's 9th place finish in the 800 meter run, in a personal best time of 2:22.36, and Lieke Black's 11th place finish in the 60 meter hurdles, with a personal best and state qualifying time of 9.49 seconds. Finally, the 4x800 meter relay team consisting of Jenna Saunders, Ainsley Olsewski, Naomi Bram and Tara Jog placed 11th running 10:49 flat.
