Fifteen members of the Wissahickon Indoor Girls Track & Field Team traveled to Lehigh University last night, January 24th, to compete in their 5th DVGTCA track meet. Top performers included medal winners Kasi Brown who finished 3rd in the High Jump clearing 5-1, and finished 3rd in the Long Jump with a state qualifying jump of 17-3. In addition, Lena Perlmutter had a personal best performance in the Pole Vault, clearing 9 feet, good enough to earn a 6th place medal. On the track, the 4x800 meter relay team consisting of Maddy Hippensteal, Laila Cottom, Milla Jovanovic and Mari Kleha earned a medal with their 4th place finish in a time of 10:07.35. The team will compete tomorrow in the Ocean Breeze Invitational in Staten Island, NY.
