The Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track Team traveled to Lehigh University on Friday night, January 31st, to compete in the 6th regular season DVGTCA meet. There were several strong performances throughout the evening with the highlight being the 4x400 meter relay race. Laila Cottom, Mila Jovanovic, Jenna Saunders and Maddy Hippensteal earned a 3rd place medal in the race and ran their best time of the season, lowering it to 4:10.73, nearly a second faster than the state qualifying standard. The team will compete again at Lehigh next Friday night, February 7th.
