Girls Varsity Indoor Track vs. OPEN

Nine members of the Girls Indoor Track Team competed in the Meet of Champions on Friday night, February 21st. Junior Kasi Brown earned a medal for her 3rd place finish in the high jump, clearing 5-2. In addition, senior Maddy Hippensteal finished 7th in 800 meters with a time of 2:22.9, and the 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Laila Cottom, Mila Jovanovic, Julia Keller and Maddy Hippensteal finished 7th with a time of 4:09.8. Kasi, Maddy, Laila, Mila and Julia will compete in their respective events (High Jump, 800 Meters and 4x400 meter realy) at State Championship Meet at Penn State University this Sunday, March 1st.
