Congratulations to the Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track Team for their performance at our first Polar Bear Meet against Upper Dublin and Council Rock North on January 21st at Upper Dublin High School.
Highlights of the meet included the following first place performances: Senior Kasi Brown –High Jump clearing 5’2”; Sophomore Lena Perlmutter – Pole Vault clearning 9’-6”; Sophomore Mila Jovanovic – 400 meters in 63.52 seconds; Freshman Jess Palish – 60 meters in 8.48 seconds
We also had several second place performances: Senior Lindsey Frenia – 3000 meters in 12:06.44; Sophomore Laila Cottom – 400 meters in 64.37; Freshman Jess Palish – 200 meters in 29.02
Third place finishers included: Junior Julia Keller – 60 meters in 8.75 seconds and Sophomore Emma Jovanovic – 400 meters in 70.43 seconds
