Congratulations to the Girls Indoor Track & Field Team for their performances at the Robert J Burdette Indoor Classic on December 29th. Several girls placed in the top 5 earning medals. First place finishes included Lena Perlmutter in the Pole Vault clearing 10 ft. , Mila Jovanovic in the mile finishing in 5 minutes 42.54 seconds, and the 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Laila Cottom, Emma Jovanovic, Jessica Palish and Mila Jovanovic with a time of 4:17.53. The team also had 2 - 3rd place finishes – Jessica Palish in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.29 seconds, and Laila Cottom in the 400 meters with a time of 62.94. The team will compete again on Friday January 7th at Alvernia University.
