18 members of the Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track & Field Team traveled to Staten Island NY on Sunday February 2nd to compete in the 10th Annual Ocean Breeze Invitational. Several team members performed a personal best in their event, and freshman Ameerah Jones-Rines earned a 6th place medal in the triple jump with a personal best jump of 35 feet 3 and a quarter inches. Several team members will compete in the DVGTCA Consolation Championships tomorrow at the Clock Tower Schools in Glen Mills.
