This past weekend Ava Walters, Bernice Fu, Rachel Le, and Nora Weber competed at the District One Swimming Championships in York, PA. The girls swam well and ended up in fifteenth place overall.

On Friday we had three individual competitors and one relay competing. Nora and Ava swam the 200y Free with Ava placing 27th and Nora making the podium with a 7th place finish. Rachel Le placed 30th in the 50y Free. The girls' 200y Free Relay team of Nora, Bernice Fu, Rachel, and Ava placed 12th.

On Saturday we had four individual competitors and one relay. Nora and Ava swam the 500y Free with Ava placing 22nd and Nora being crowned as the district champion in a new team record! Rachel dropped over 1.5 seconds in the 100y Back and placed 21st. Bernice had the final individual swim of the meet with a 41st place in the 100y Breast. The meet ended with the 400 Free Relay where Nora, Rachel, Bernice, and Ava earned a 13th place finish.
