LOWER MORELAND HIGH SCHOOL: 61.00
The Wissahickon Trojans got a hard-fought overtime win over visiting Lower Moreland 62-61. For most of the first half Lower Moreland controlled tempo and executed anything they wanted on offense and carried a 31-26 lead into halftime. At the start of the second half the Trojans immediately took control of the game and the lead, but the Lions would not go away. In the final seconds of the game John Kroll drew two seperate fouls to earn 5 foul shots, and put the game into overtime. In the overtime The Trojans got two big threes from Dom Vacchiano and Brayden Ryan,and were able to pull out a win in the tightly contested game.
Dom Vacchiano had 22 for Wissahickon and Brayden Ryan added 20. Kevin Hegedus had 19 for the Lions.
Wissahickon will play Springfield on Friday night.
