Wissahickon went into North Penn and earned a hard-fought win against the Knights 43-38.
The Trojans play suffocating defense to take a 23-12 lead into halftime, but North Pen Came battling back and cut the score to 4 in the final minutes. Big buckets by Nico Vacchiano, Mason Stelzer, and Grant Ajemian.
Vacchiano led Wiss with 24 points and 9 rebounds, and 4 steals. Michael Maltin had 9 rebounds, and Mason Stelzer had 5 assist and held the Knights best scorer to 7 points, well below his average.
Wiss will face Upper Moreland on Tuesday at UM.
