The Wissahickon Trojans lost a double overtime heartbreaker to Methacton in the Perkiomen Valley Holiday tournament 68-65.
The Trojans fell behind by five in the first but were able to go into halftime down by three, 27-24. Nico Vacchiano scored 20 of his game-high 22 in the second half and in the overtimes, but it wasn't enough for the win. Mason Stelzer scored 16 and Chris Lee had 14 to add much needed offensive support. The Warriors were led Sam iemmello with 16.
The Trojans will play at 1:00 on Saturday vs. the tournament host, Perkiomen Valley.
