The JV Boys Lacrosse team got off to a good start in their first game of the season against Pennridge, notching a victory of 8-6 on Friday in the Wiss Turf Stadium. Jumping out to a 4-0 lead, your Trojans had a few faltering moments in the 2nd quarters but our goalie play by Ashton Lawson was outstanding, and he kept us in the game as we went into halftime with a 4-2 lead. In a closely fought second half the boys in Gold and Blue gave up a few point-blank goals, but held on for the close win 8-6. Our scoring was led by CJ Purnell with 1 goal and 2 assists, Alex Solomon with 2 goals and one assist, Zach Carey with 3 goals, Michael Sun, Bryce Zimmerman and Joey Connelly each notched an assist.
