UPPER DUBLIN HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Wissahickon boys 9th grade soccer team came out with a big victory today with a 3-2 victory over Upper Dublin that turned out to be a typical backyard brawl. Brody Myers, Billy Martinez and a game winner by Ryan Friedman, all scored one goal apiece. The team showed tremendous courage after coming back from a 2 game losing streak and being down 2-1 at the half. Adjustments were made a half time and the Trojans responded with two unanswered goals to seal the victory. Outstanding effort by Ethan Glass who played out of position in goal to stop Upper Dublin dead in their tracks. This tremendous comeback win will hopefully carry them into the final stretch of the season. Congratulations boys!
