The Boys’ Cross Country team competed in the Souderton Invitational this past Saturday. The Boys’ Varsity finished in 3rd Place. Varsity medalists were: Ben Hoyer 4th, Matt Maiale 8th, and Nathan Leung 18th.
The Boys’ Junior Varsity team finished in 1st Place. Junior Varsity medalists were: Josh Zimmerman 4th, Hanson Leung 5th, Josh Chaiken 7th, Trey Hippensteal 10th, Aiden Marcelis 12th, Bryce Miles 16th, and Sean Robinson 17th.

The Boys’ Cross Country Team competed in the Salesianum Invitational at Brandywine Creek State Park in Delaware this past Saturday.The Boys’ Varsity finished 4th/15 teams in the Large School Division. Varsity medalists were: Ben Hoyer 3rd, Matt Maiale 10th, and Nathan Leung 13th.The Junior Varsity A team finished 3rd/30 teams. Medalists were: Aiden Marcelis 10th, and Luke Bowerman 14th.The Junior Varsity B team finished 2nd/ 22 teams. Medalists were: Sean Robinson 3rd, Bryce Miles 7th, and Zach Frustaci 13th.The Junior Varsity C team finished 6th/ 10 teams. The Freshman team finished 3rd/ 15 teams. Medalists were: Solomon Thistle 8th, Hanson Leung 9th, and Zach Frustaci 13th.

The Boys’ Cross Country team defeated Plymouth Whitemarsh 22-39 and Upper Moreland 15-50 in a Tri-Meet Wednesday at Plymouth Whitemarsh. Varsity scorers for Wissahickon were: Ben Hoyer 1st, Matt Maiale 3rd, Nathan Leung 5th, Ahmid Shamsi 6th, Josh Chaiken 7th, Randy Schwemmer 8th, and Sam Klugherz

The Boys’ Cross Country Team competed in the Council Rock Invitational this past Saturday. The Boys’ Varsity finished 2nd in the Small School Division and 5th out of 15 schools overall. Varsity medal winners were: Ben Hoyer 14th, Matt Maiale 23rd, and Nathan Leung 25th.
The Boys’ Junior Varsity finished 6th out of 13 schools. Aiden Marcelis was our top JV finisher in 22nd place.
The Boys’ Novice Team finished in 1st Place with an outstanding score of 18 points. Novice medal winners were: Josh Chaiken 1st, Ahmid Shamsi 2nd, Bryce Miles 3rd, Hanson Leung 5th, Ethan Weiss 7th, and Sean Robinson 10th.
Fifteen Wissahickon runners had PR’s on the Council Rock Course.

Trojans Lose: -
The Boys’ Cross Country team lost to Hatboro-Horsham 33-26 and defeated Springfield 15-50 in a Tri-Meet at home today. Ben Hoyer won the race in a time of 16:48. Ben is undefeated in League competition so far this season.
Other Varsity scorers were: Matt Maiale 4th, Nathan Leung 5th, Sam Klugherz 11th, and Ahmed Shamsi 14th.
The Junior Varsity defeated Hatboro 22-39 and Springfield 15-50. Junior Varsity scorers were: Hanson Leung 2nd, Trey Hippensteal 3rd, Sean Robinson 4th, Solomon Thistle 6th , and Bryce Miles 7th.

Trojans Win: 34 - 23
The Boys' Cross Country lost to a strong North Penn team 23-34. Ben Hoyer won the race in a time of 16:59.
Other Varsity scorers were: Matt Maiale 5th, Nathan Leung 7th, Josh Chaiken 10th , and Sam Klugherz 11th.
Out of the 32 Wissahickon runners in the race 16 had PR'S on our home course.
