The Wissahickon Girls Indoor Track & Field Team traveled to Alvernia University on Friday night December 6th to compete in their first meet of the season. There were several strong performances among the team. Top performances included senior Brooklyn Compass' 2nd place finish in the shot put with a personal best throw of 34'-2.75" and freshman Ameerah Jones-Rines 2nd place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 34"-04". The team will travel to Lehigh University next Friday December 13th to compete in their next meet.
