Vanessa Fry
Assistant Coach
Girls Varsity Field Hockey
Vanessa graduated from Millersville University in 2015, where she majored in English Education and minored in Athletic Coaching. After graduating, she coached JV field hockey at Mount Saint Joseph Academy for the next five years. In 2020, Vanessa went on to coach JV and assist with the Varsity team at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. In the spring of 2022, Vanessa was able to return to her alma mater, Wissahickon, as the JV coach. Vanessa played goalie for Wissahickon for four years under Coach Lucy Gil and is very excited to wear blue and yellow again! In her spare time, Vanessa has coached for Mystx Field Hockey Club since 2015, and she is one of the directors of the Sprouts and Seedlings program, a program for athletes in K-6th grade.
