The Wrestling Team finished up its regular season today with a tournament at William Tennent. While we only had 8 Varsity wrestlers competing, we managed to beat out 5 other teams placing 11th out of 16. All the wrestlers that competed won at least one match and all placed in the top 10 including our 2nd team 106lber Freshman, Mason Carr while Senior, Julian Memis placed 5th at the same weight. Sophomore, Martin Vandegrft put iin his best performance of the year going 3-1 on the day, Freshman, Tyler Prince placed 3rd at 215 improving his record to 18-13. His 18 wins currently lead the team.
Next up the post-season starting with Districts Saturday at Interboro. The top 4 finishers will advance to Regionals at Oxford High School.
