Boys track ended it's conference season with a 3rd place finish at the SOL Liberty Division Champs on Saturday. Winners included Jaylen Foster at 100M (11.09 PR trials, 11.01 PR finals), Mike Ross at high jump and the 4x800 team (Hubert Liu, Brendan Tatko, Brandon Haines, Grayson Ruffner) who knocked 10 seconds off their previous season's best upsetting Upper Dublin in the process. Anchoring that team, Ruffner posted the #10 Wiss All-Time 800 split of 1:55.04. Winning time 8:01.04
Dominic Harvey-Sheppard lowered his 300 Hurdle freshman school record for the third time hitting 40.64 ranking him #1 for freshmen state-wide. On Friday in the 200 pre-lims, he came within .001 sec of the 31 year old Frosh school record. His 22.69 just short of 22.68 by Steve Smith in 1982.
District qualifiers for this weekend: 4x800, Ruffner 1600 and 800, Harvey-Sheppard 300 hurdles and 200, Foster 100M.
